Double your damage

What do you mean by "oversight"? Anyway, as I said, I do think bows can become as good as melee later on, and my damage totals weren't including sneak attacks, but whatever.

Yeah, Smyth is kinda random what he gives you, but you might be able to get a MW bow there. I can't recall seeing one, but I don't use bows much, so I haven't really looked. You do get a +1 bow somewhere early (probably the king bullfrog), but the next one you get isn't until the groaning spirit's chest on level 3, I believe.

 

How could I forget?: Suped up spiked chain (or any reach weapon, really) combined with great cleave and whirlwind attack! I've gotten 12 attacks in one round, all at my highest attack bonus!
