I'm building a rogue, and my "extra" skill points will be going into UMD. I was thinking that having a wand-based blaster might be fun, once I've levelled up a bit. She already has Quick Draw - but I don't know if switching to or between wands will work. Are they considered a weapon in ToEE? The d20 SRD is ambiguous on this point. Also, would a wand that requires an attack roll to hit (such as Scorching Ray) apply sneak attack damage?
Wands aren't weapons. They work from the menu like scrolls. Rods/staffs, on the other hand, have to be equipped before using their spells. Regardless, you won't be able to use more than one spell per turn.
