    Gurthang, your Lordship. Durthang was the tower on the Morannon that Frodo and Sam were force-marched from (well, they were force-marched AMONG the Durthang orcs). PJ did a nice job including that in the extendy bits, though he failed miserably to convey Frodo's suffering.

    And why didn't Glamdring glow blue? When I film the Nirneath Arnoediad, there is going to be a WALL of Gondolothrim with glowing weapons.

    Ah, me...Gurthang it is. I even looked at the listing it in the index as I was typing the post, fact-checking on Glamdring to make sure that I had the age of the weapons as correct as possible. They both start with G, of course...

    I was pointing out that Glamdring thing to my mate last wednesday when we were watching LotR V1 and the bit in moria where sting glows but Glamdring don't. In the Hobbit Glamdring, Orcrist and Sting all glow
