Thank for the response, I'll go and lower the dex of the gladiator.
    I had a reason for every thing I did to each one;
gladatior, maurader, and celtic all have intimidate becuse I would find it scarry if some half naked (or fully naked) person was waving a sword at me.

The reason for the max dex is that just a few bits of metal straped to you doesn't stop you moving this way and that especially nothing on the chest area.

The celtic has a -5 diplomacy because I wouldn't want to talk to a naked tattooed person (unless I just got out of the shower and I'm talking to myself), and is masterwork because I figured that if someone could craft magic arms and armour they could add to the magic runes and make them stronger.

None of the other stuff is masterwork, do you think any of it should be?

Would it be possible to get a second set of Masterwork Gladiator armor in the game? I'd love to be able to enchant it and have my fighter/barb wear it to the end-game.

When the quests come out, I'd love to see a party decked out in this gear attack my characters. Best way to get new stuff. :)

Edit: I see your reasoning on the Gladiator armor. I just like to see the max Armor Value + Dex kept to the same limits as are present in Full Plate and Padded Armor (the current best choices in the game). However, that's just a matter of taste; this is great new stuff, powerful or no.

I updated the 'cujos_mod.zip' file with the fixes.

I personally think there should be masterwork options for pretty much everything, although, from a D&D perspective, I don't know if you can add magic to a rune like that... though the rune itself is a brilliant idea! Is it stackable with bracers? Ideally, a rune that could be put ON armour would be great, as a high-level crafting option... thats more 'WarHammer' perhaps than D&D though.

Enough prattle - just keep doing what you are doing Cujo, its great :)

the Whole point of the celtic is an excuse to run around naked but have an armour bonus, so with a little creative licence :twitch: I made an outfit that was just tattoos which gave the wearer of the tattoos an armour bonus (it might just be in their head but... )

Actually, I'm fairly sure that you can get magical tatoos in 3.5, and upgrade them. I'd have to search for the reference.

I'm all for the Celtic. My Druid looks good. ;)

There's stuff on Magical Tattoos in Relics and Rituals 1&2, which I don't have. However, the ability to make them is a 3rd level crafting feat, allowing scroll effects or other item effects to be placed on the character's skin.

So, looks like the Celtic is legal, which is a good thing. ;)

Cujo, I like your new art as well . . . but did you intend straight up nudity like that, or did I get something wrong? I don't see how anyone could make their concentration checks given the 'abundant' scenery . . .

    LOL

yes that was the plan, and thats why it has a -5 diplomacy, maybe I should try to add to the corset something that makes people fail their will saves... :dribble:

making the boobs was probably one of the hardest parts, the left nipple had to get moved 2 pixels to the right, if you've ever noticed on Hedrack's plate the females has two red dots well the left one is in the wrong place, just. for some reason getting the two halfs of the tattoo to line up wasn't that hard... and the pic I had of the males tats I had to skew it but when I tested it I was just how I had wanted it to look...

Looking the gladiator armor over again, I think it should have the same stats as padded armor, and be available in both Masterwork and enchanted versions.

The Celtic is fantastic, but should probably be a quest item.

The Royal Armor looks great, but those skill bonusses are huge. Looks like another quest item.

wasn't sure what to give for the Royal armour, I just wanted something that would make a fighter a useful party leader, like a general or King.
At the moment I've changed the gladiator to be the same a mithral shirt.

thanks to old book, who obviously knows alot more than me about D&D, the stats on items are slowly changing.

the maurader is the same as studded leather

has anyone had a look at the weapons (and swung them around abit), and what is the darkblade in the latest protos, I made it keen, unholy, masterwork, greatsword I don't think I gave it weapon enhancement bonus or +anything.

    I can't think of a reason not to :)
What I meant (for the record) was taking an already magical rune and buffing it, which is how I interpreted whatever it was I was talking about (c'mon, it was 9 hours ago - thats like 3000 posts ago for me!) Whatever. Bottom line, I love what Cujo has done and the rules can just be interpretted to make it fit as far as I am concerned :)

Should be a +5 to all the social skills . . . I'd think everyone you encounter would become suddenly cooperative.

(I can just see Kelno or somebody trying to explain to Hedrack why he let these people down to level 4 . . . :bounce: :jerkin:

    Tried:
    Double Axe
    Great Mace
    Darkblade

    All worked correctly. :)

Darkblade: Keen, Masterwork, Unholy and Great Sword are all working as they should (my greatsword specialist is getting her bonus). Should probably be a +1 weapon in addition to being Masterwork, just to bring it in line with the rules for Keen and Unholy. Very powerful, a good quest item for an Evil party. Maybe it could be put in Lareth's inventory? Or, even better, Lareth could be given a Level 6 fighter bodyguard holding the Darkblade and wearing the Gladiator Armor?

(Suggesting Lareth because the obvious use for an Unholy weapon is to go back and wipe out Homlet before going to Nulb).
