    I believe what he meant was that he needed to replace the power supply. ToEE has pretty intense graphics that caused a power drain that would cause his game to crash.

    I actually used to get the same issue when I played World of Warcraft sometimes.

    Anyway, in case I wasn't clear:

    PSU = Power Supply

    The power supply in most computers is easy to remove and BestBuy/CircuitCity sell them. If you change video/graphics cards it can make a big difference. Check the requirements for your video card(250Watts,etc) and your computers PS. A higher rated PS is a lot cheaper than a new computer.

    I'm glad Roller1234 got his game going, but I can't think of anything about ToEE that would tax the system compared to UT2004.

    I can quite honestly say ToEE is the most graphically intense game i ever saw. Because of the.. animations. Really, moving the map around, it moves absolutely fluid with no tearing. Commanding the party, they turn around absolutely fluidly. Its like all the animations are done @60fps, while in every other game they are done at like.. 15-20. It is very pleasant to the eye, and probably also render-time consuming. People are used to jerky animations from 24fps movies. Sad, really. But not so in ToEE. Unfortunately devs rarely(at all?) invest in such thing, since that quality is acceptable.. and not very evident.

    ToEE certainly seems to eat up system resources if they are available. It's an odd game though because old PCs sometimes run it better than nice new sparkly ones :stoned:
