Crafting Weapons

    “…I personally do not have this problem (although see the
    EEL cap limitation detailed below), but if you make it +3 first, there will surely be no problems. For this reason, it is advisable to make everything +3 before adding anything else. “


    My configuration:
    Co8 Mod Pack 4.0.0 / ToEE Front-End ( v3.51 I think )

    With my configuration, do I need to worry about making items +3 before adding effects ?

    Is there still the bug with EEL > 10 ?

    You don't HAVE to, but if you want to make super powerful weapons (EEL > 10) yes.
    Yes (Your not supposed to be able to add more than +5 weapon enhancement bonuses to hit and damage (current max +3), and +5 bonus in special abilities (flaming, holy, shocking, keen etc...)

    Actually, by the PNP rules you should be able to add any combination of plusses and special powers, as long as the actual plus of the weapon doesn't exceed 5 and the total of plusses and powers doesn't exceed 10. So you can legally have a +1 shocking burst, flaming burst, icy burst, holy keen long sword if you want.

    :doh: I really should read that 3.5 update booklet sometime.
