Mum-Ra has both cleric and magic-user levels, to be sure. Why else would he invoke his gods, the "ancient spirits of evil?" Liches can be magic-users as well as cleric/magic-users...at least by my favorite rules set.:goth:

BTW, isn't that damn thing in the meadow some kind of undead ranger or something?

hmm...sounds like fun...make a bow and mod it to have a number of charges and slings disintegrate when used (does not use arrows)...the character would have to have proficiency with a bow to use it

well the heavy crossbow would look more like a bow caster and everyone, i believe is proficient with a crossbow(although halflings and gnomes can only use light i believe)

Exactly... and the bowcaster would have to be heavy, cause only big furry strong critters should be able to use them (though they are said to be auto-cocking for that very reason).

I'd like, respectfully, to request a mod with He Man(/Adam) and Battlecat(/Cringer) as a wandering encounter. :peace:

Any chance we could get a Purple Dinosaur as a random encounter...just so we could KILL him?!

Paladins would NOT fall when doing so... heck the whole encounter could be an "Atonement Quest"!!!

I never said Kill Barney - that might bring up copryright infringement problems. I just simply mentioned a RANDOM encounter, inocent enough, in which a upright walking, obnoxious, red-blue mix hued dinosaur MIGHT be encountered. And killed. Or maybe you could have dialogue with him, and when he starts singing some made up song, oh, something like- "I'll hug you, You'll hug me" to the tune of some childs song, like, oh, say, Ring Around the Rosey or THIS OLD MAN, you're party can realize that he is some new breed of Roper, and slay him :) That's all. AND, since children have come up missing recently around Homelett (Mathilde wouldn't even miss a couple of hers but I digress)- this could actually be a GOOD thing, perhaps even a quest of atonement for a fallen Paladin.

    Just to be clear. :)

EDIT- Speaking of massive Easter Eggs- is it POSSIBLE to make certain encounters optional?

I mean would it help "pure up" the game if we made things like a dinosaur hunt or a Gwenno encounter as SELECTABLE options?

    Just an idea.

    Gwenno is already optional.

Is there a D&Der who WOULDN'T hack Barney to pieces? He's the very definition of KOS.

Even a strict role player would agree, no matter what alignment you are, Barney would have to die.
