Co8 New Content: Verbobonc

I think you need to learn about the factions in the temple from one of the temple priests or someone else.

 

I got it after talking to the dark lady(got away) or the wizard(died) just inside the tunnel from the burnt farmhouse.

 

Is there any other way to get there? I took out smigmal and falrinth won't talk to me. He threatens me and doesn't give me a chance to talk. What other characters will give me the info to unlock to Verbo path?

 

Frustrated now. Can't get anyone to tell me about the factions so I went into the temple and destroyed all the clerics and their followers. Still no access to Verbo. Help!

 

Open up the console ( shift + ~) and type

If it returns less than 5, then type

Code:

game.story_state = 5

If it did return 5 (or higher), then that's not your problem. Have you completed all the previous quests?

 

About the factions, did you read Romag's diary, or talk to Wonnilon?

To get to Verbobanc, you need to talk to talk to Brother Smythe, after you have learned of the Temple Factions. You ALSO need to have finished Hickory Branch, The Moathoause Respawn, and the Arena of Heroes. If you have completed all these, and then ask Brother Smythe about something different, he should give you the speech about going to talk to the Vicount.

Gaear posted a full process, so I may be making a mistake.

I did not complete the Arena before going to Verbo.

 

One way to get the story state is to ask one of the Temple priests what exactly is going on here. Just meeting one is not enough, you need to ask around.

Then I guess you have to at least visit it with the book, unless I am still totally wrong. Would not be the first time, so feel free to take what I say with that grain of salt.

Good to know and I was not sure of the exact details, so I am glad to be proven wrong. I usually finish all these myself, so so do not leave anything undone and uncompleted.

 

I wasn't able to get brother smyth to mention The Moathoause Respawn before I complited Arena of Heroes. And I tried a couple of times, but I only got the "maybe i should finish this chest bussiness first" (or smth) line choice. Right after I finished the Arena brother smyth mentioned The Moathoause Respawn and told me to talk with Kent.

 

You have to be further along in the main story to access the NC.

 

Sorry, forgot that. My bad. Though I thought I was far enough, since I had visited the TOEE (but not the subterran leves) and fought with the guards in the Tower ruins entrance.
