    When you say you've gotten rid of the ghosts, do you mean you solved their quest?

    ie ... Finding out why they're still hang'n round and bothering folks.

    Yep. That is exactly what I mean. :) I have
    gotten their body parts (Head, Hands, Feet) and gave it to them and then they said they would leave me be. I also saw all the ghosts outside.
    Unless there is something I have missed. I can still complain to people that my Castle is haunted.

    Have anybody else this problem? It is really anoying that I have spent over 100000 on a Castle and still have to buy a room in town.

    So far, I have only been able to get rid of the first ghost on the second floor. I've gone outside at night and never found the second one.

    I've tried that. I know that the ghosts only appear at night -- but what is the times for night? I'd guess that from 2200 to 0400 should be good enough.

    In ToEE, night is 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.

    Crusader, are you using 7.4.1?

    I should be but checking now I se it's 7.4.0. So I tried to patch it again and it still say 7.4.0. But checking the game folder there is one folder called "docs_Co8 7.4.1 NC".
    I'm playing the GoG version if that has anything to do with it.
    And I run on Win7 so I have to use "Run as administrator" to start "ToEE Front-End X".

    7.4.1 is not listed in TFE-X, but it is listed on the splash screen.

    The first screen to appear when you launch the game. The one that says loading all this and that and shows the little static logos of everybody and the copyright notice and all that crap.

    i have the same problem with 7.4.1, it will go through the motions on install but nothing in the front end, so i just gave up waiting for the next patch/mod

    There is no problem if you do it correctly. This is made clear by the fact that some people have, indeed, installed the patch successfully. ;)

    You need the appropriate patch for what version of the mod you're using. (NC or standard)

    After downloading the patch and running its installation utility, you then launch TFE-X, highlight the mod, and click the add-on modules box. If that box is unclickable, that means there are no add-on modules available for that mod, which means you have probably installed the wrong add-on.

    This is all explained in the installation instructions posted everywhere.

    @Crusader, if the splash screen says 7.4.0, then you are definitely not playing the patched version, which is why you can't rest in the castle.
