That's great! I thought maybe I had installed it wrong or something, but I did everything I found on here and it kept doing the CTD. Thanks for your time. Looking forward to trying this out.
I have to laugh. I thought maybe I was missing out on some serious content and basically all that happened was that it did not CTD, which is great, but not the only thing I was expecting. LOL!!! I'm glad it works just thought I was missing out on some big story line.
No big story line - that's just an appropriate introduction for a fellow Cuthbertian. However, you will find that Ronald is one of the most fleshed out and interactive NPCs in the game. His dialog file is enormous.
What are his stats? Also, why is it that some people give him 1 or 2 levels of Fighter or Ranger? Do they give him those first and then just give him the rest in Cleric?

obviously like your web-site however you have to check the spelling on several of your posts. Many of them are rife with spelling issues and I to find it very bothersome to inform the truth however I will certainly come back again. Cheapest WOW Gold World Of Warcraft Gold
What? I thought we talking about the cheapest place to buy WOW .... heh heh heh I reported the post and the other posts this bot has made.
I've added Ronald to my 7.41 party of (mainly) stealth- Monk, Rogue, Rogue who will go to lvl3 then switch to Monk, Wiz who will avoid noisy evocations, Cleric. I've levelled Ron as a Ranger so far, though he may go back to his original vocation after some catharsis in Hickory Branch. It occurs to me though that he might make quite a fine monk himself: if you rolled his stats looking to make a monk you'd pretty pleased, the longbow proficiency isn't completely redundant as it is with Ftr or Rgr, and the ability to cast cleric spells like Sanctuary and CLW (plus use wands of better cures, Divine Power etc donated by friendly clerics) would protect him from over-reaching himself...Help! I've convinced myself! Question: if I equal out his cleric and ranger levels, can he then advance as a monk without XP penalty by dint of being human (i.e. by ignoring Monk as being his favoured class) or will I have to go back a few levels to be able to do this? He went to Rgr3/Clr1 just before fighting Lareth &co - I could go back to lvl4 level-up and go with either Cleric or Monk there.
Update on Ronald the Monk: seems to be going very well, and is now Clr1 Rgr2 Monk 5. Prefers to fight with a staff but sometimes switches back to Comp L Bow for some sniping. Two issues that are slightly sub-optimal: because he can't talk to traders, I can't get him Ma Screng's magic tattoos; also I can't persuade him to give up his old gear (presumably this is linked to his Clr level, not his character level or any quests e.g. Hickory Branch). Neither is a major problem (though I did have to craft him some GOPs to stop him whininh like a pack mule) but it does make me wonder whether he will now trigger his 'meet the parents' side quest at 17th level- anyone know?
He could pester his buddy the 17th level Cleric of Pelor? I've never got as far as this quest with Ronald before, so don't know how it works- I take it that Ron has to be the one who casts the spells?
Have any of you guys heard ol Ronny sing? I about died when he sang me a little ditty about nuke'n with fireballs.
