what it means - if I've got the idea of your problem - is that there is 'one' too many folders by the name of "data". and the soultion would be to "delete" one of them, posably backing it up first.

Let me venture a guess here. You reinstalled 4.0.0, didn't you? Do you have a data.Co8-4.0.0 folder and a data.ToEE folder in your ToEE root directory? If you do, uninstall 4.0.0, start Front End, select vanilla ToEE, and start the game. As soon as you have the option, quit the game. Open your ToEE root folder and delete the data.Co8-4.0.0 folder, then open the modules folder and delete the Co8-4.0.0 folder. Reinstall Co8 4.0.0. If this doesn't fix the problem, then it is some other Front End mod that you have duplicates of.

Alternatively, I find cutting and pasting the contents of the Co8-4.0.0.data folder into the data folder (assuming Co8-4.0.0 was the last module used), then deleting the (now) empty Co8-4.0.0 folder fixes this problem, bhut if you're not comfortable doing this, use Cerulean's suggestion, the guy gives good advice.

I uninstalled all and reinstalled works fine now.. Have new problem I used other game boosters.. Spefically TCE from sorcers.com to boost my characters Now I have problems saving.. I think but don't know maybe conflicts with CO8 mod.. haven't tried other way..
Just curious if one of you have had same experience..

Or possibly have a program you use for adjusting stats and feats.. that works better>>

Just for info sake I just want to say you guys are geniouses... I don't think I could ever be a modder.. I am a gamer an enthusiast. A loyal patron of D&D.. I have always preferred D&D games utilizing parties and not just soloist.. I hope you guys take advantage of your excellent skills and create.. new completely whole D&D games ..using circle of eight bases..Or bring back games like Secret of the silver blades..I have great ideas from a gamers point of view.. If you are interested in talking I can tell you a post story or focus for a game...

    I have a small question:

I visited (and really enjoyed) the caravan at the begining of the mod, but as I was just starting out, I didn't have enough gold to really buy anything superior and therefor was not able to take full advantage of things like the Darkwood shield and Trollbone armor.
Is there ever a way to get back to that caravan...or is the only chance you have right at the begining of the game?

:( Oh well.....all those tempting expensive items and no gold to buy them. For some reason, just as a previous poster said...in the house marked on the map by shining ted...the merchant in Nulb is not there. weird.

Ah Fong is generally only around at night. If the sun is up, leave and come back again later.

Oh, and DON'T feed the Mogwai. :coffee:

In my game he isn't there by night or day.

And I should take this opportunity to thank you all for your hard work in breathing life into a game that fell short of it's original potnetial.
