Does he have a son Theodore according to canon? I kind of like the idea of getting the scheming Elysia involved.
Ooops, I just made that name up, although it does have a spoiled brat next in line ring to it. I was merely attempting to kick start the writing mojo of the Bastard Maestro himself.
I don't know whether the following information is of any use for "authenticity" with the Co8 modpack NC. It is from the module Vecna Lives!
Thanks gazra, interesting info. On a matter unrelated to endslides but referenced in the attachment, they mention this Bishop of St. Cuthbert fellow as being the second most significant person in Verbo after Wilfrick. Back when I added in the Pelor church/faction/etc., I mainly chose Pelor just because it was different than St. C and still common, and just made Ramses up. But since then I've seen that St. Cuthbert is indeed referenced in various places as the dominant church in Verbobonc. Does anyone think we should switch the Church of Pelor in Verbobonc to St. C and change Canon Ramses into this bishop guy, in order to be more thematically consistent? Ramses is pretty two-dimensional, so he could probably just shoehorn into the new guy.
Absent any other suggestions, here's the new Wilfrick: Also, being as saving Thaddeus is probably not all that likely, I added a similar killing contingency: ~ Something for Uncle Orrengaard:
Added a slave traders contingency: Of Castles and Quarries Oh, we should probably have a 'finished the game with Ronald' slide.
Has anybody ever seen a Zaxis end slide in the history of ToEE? When you end the game with him in the party?
More Hickory Branch and the girls (collusion!) ~ Demons and demigods can just use the existing Iuz slide I suppose. And we'll slide the same in for Cuthbert and the Balor.
I've found two bugs in the vanilla slides script that would 1. cause you to not get the Zaxis slide (has anyone ever seen that one?) and 2. cause you to get the Scorrp slide if you had Oohlgrist in your party, not Scorrp. Both of these are 'finished-the-game-with-NPC-x' slides. I've also plunged pretty deeply into the vanilla slide methodology (the best way to win is to know your enemy ) and found some interesting things: Many endslides are all jumbled around in no particular order. So you may get a slide about gay Bertram, then a slide about Senshock, then how Hommlet prospered, etc. I've reordered them to be more chronological. There are eight basic themes or categories. I reordered the slides according to this chronology: Fate of Zuggtmoy Iuz and St. Cuthbert Fate of Prince Thrommel Fate of the Temple and its players Fate of Nulb and its players Fate of Hommlet and its players Fate of NPCs who ended the game with you Vignette resolution LN has no vignette resolution NPCs who have reported fates are pretty randomly selected and not at all thorough If Thrommel is in the party and you end the game by killing or banishing Iuz, it is assumed that you kill Thrommel, take his sword, and give it to the Hextorites, even though you didn't. Most slides don't take that much liberty with what the player does down the line. According to the slides, Bertram and Furnok go to Verbobonc! Betram if he's freed, and Furnok if he retires. Bertram does dentistry there and Furnok becomes "well known and well respected." ION, since we can play slides without ending the game now, we'll be playing the vanilla slides after Zuggtmoy in the NC version and then transporting you to Verbobonc, complete with an expository slide, where you will play out phase 2 and then see NC endlides and actually end the game. There will have to be some maneuvering with vanilla slides that may affect or contradict NC and vice versa. e.g., "you marry Fruella and live happily ever after" probably would have to be postponed to post-NC.
