Based on the numbers you gave, it appears you have Dodge and a Dexterity of 24 while wearing the gauntlets. While wearing bracers, only the +1 enhancement bonus from the +1 Leather Armor applies. When the bracers are removed, you lose the +3 armor bonus from the bracers, but gain the +2 armor bonus from the +1 Leather Armor. The Leather Armour has a Max Dex bonus of +6, wearing the armour reduces your +7 Dex modifier by 1 point, the breakdown is incorrectly blaming the bracers for the reduction. Using Magical Padded Armour or Black Elven Chain Armour instead would remove this penalty.
It appears you have a +1 Ring of Protection you didn't mention, that is why I assumed you had Dodge. Everything looks like it is adding up right there.
I'm SO sorry if this is the wrong place or if this has been covered... Does short sword not show up as a light weapon for weapon finesse for anyone else?
Shortswords are finesse capable weapons for medium sized characters, Halflings and Gnomes are small sized characters and cannot use weapon finesse with shortswords.
Hello. I seem to be having an issue with the spell Fireball. It does half the damage it should - for example, my 10th lvl wizard does only 5d6 dmg. I looted a wand that says "Fireball, 5th" which I assume means caster level 5. Sure enough, it does 2d6 damage. On the spell description it says "1d6 per CL" so I'm pretty sure it's a bug.
Fireball allows a reflex save for half damage, but that is supposed to halve the total damage rolled on the dice, not the damage dice themselves.
That's just the problem - on my rolls tab it says 5d6(18-22 on average) - and then it halves the damage when enemies make the save. Oh, also the druid's Call Lightning doesn't interact very well with spell resistance - only the initial casting works normally. Every other time it "overcomes SR" but there is no damage or saving throw rolled. Should I produce some screenshots?
Yes, that was it. Works as intended, I guess. Now I feel silly. The Call Lightning-SR thing is still a problem, though.
Hi, I am not sure if there is something wrong or that it has to do with my character, but my cleric can't get any spells above spell level one. I have attached the character stats so you can have a look. I am using the Co8 new content patch and temple+. I have searched the forum, but I can't find any post with a similar problem. Can anybody advice? Thanks!
