Here's a neat one; the new addition to the Hickory Branch cave guards, (The big furry one) seems to be more interested in fighting with his fellows than guarding the entrance to the cave.

We just stood back and let him wipe the floor with the ogre.

 

Do you mean the modified date? Says 10/30/2012 for me.

Cheer up Geaer, we're all amazed that there are so very few glitches in such a large undertaking, that I believe you've taken on all by yourself.

I never thought about the welkwood bog farmhouse being the old burnt farmhouse, and here I was all excited at first. Thinking that you made surprise never mentioned changes to Welkwood, until I got inside only to have my 1st level dreams dashed by a High level mage, his toady and a Deafen spell.

Also I am using a all new party, and no old saves. I have not reactivated the mod yet as you first suggested since I have not had the time to play since last nights "surprise", and now that I read these follow on post not sure that I need to? But will await further info.

I will mention that I too used the "travel to welkwood bog" immediatly dialog option instead of using the map, so this might be more of the issue; instead of actually a problem with my first activation of the mod.

 

No only the mentioned issue with the "immediately travel to a destination" dialog. Everything else has been fine so far.

 

Thinking back on it, I also used the "travel there immediately" dialog the first time, so maybe I didn't need to reactivate after all.

I am still having problems with the saves getting corrupt. It all started after I installed the lates patch. Everytime I quit the game and then start it again, the last saves are corrupt. I have tried to save as amnny times as possible but one time 10 saves where corrupt. So everytime I load a game I have to replay the last hour because all the saves since then are corrupt.
So I play for 3 hours. Next time I replay the last hour + 2 new and the next I replay 1 hour + 2 new aso. It's really irritating.
Is this the patch or is it End Game problems? I am working through the last levels of the Temple right now.
I know there are problems with saves but I have never had any bigger myself untill now. Only that the Quicksave sometimes get corrupt after a gamecrash witch is why I never rely on that save. Now I never use quicksave anymore because the game started crashing all the time. But still, I have the problems with corrupt save files.
Is there any way to fix this or will I have to live with this problem for the rest of the game? I have no plans on restarting the game and replaying it. Not after all the hours I have put in to this game.

 

I am sorry to hear of your problems. I avoid ever using the quicksave myself. I know in theory that the quicksave slot "shouldn't" affect the other save slots but for safe measure I never use it.

 

Are you playing 7.5 Crusader?

 

No. You have to start a new game to play 7.5 and right now I'm in the end of the game so I want to finnish it first.
