    Unfortunately, that didn't work either. Though I'll say the tiny sliver of display I could see was very sharp (1600x900 is my monitor's native resolution). In one of the other threads talking about this problem, I remember someone saying something about turning off scaling. My graphics controls give me options for automatic ("maintain display scaling") or manual ("customize aspect ratio"), but there is no "off". Is there a particular aspect ratio that might do the trick?

    Scaling is generally an issue with movies. Probably your best choice would be whatever is native to your monitor. ToEE's movies come in a few different aspect ratios.

    When you first started with 7.3.3, it was fine until you tested Alt-Tab, then everything went to hell? If so I would just do the clean reinstall and then never ever Alt-Tab again. You don't have to wait for 7.4 to reinstall, as you'll just activate that within the same installation when it comes.

    Oh, you mean 7.4 will be an add-on pack. I missed that the first time, thanks. I'll try a reinstall later today.

    Well, the reintsall at least got windowed mode working again. Still no luck with full screen.

    7.4 won't be an add-on pack but a normal new module. Activating or deactivating it won't have the slightest effect on your game installation.

    Module, not add-on pack, right. It's been a longer week than I thought.

    Attention everybody - strange and confounding 'issues' have arisen with the latest build of the modpack, which was due today. FYI, these are not the should-have-seen-it-coming variety, but as I say strange and confounding things that suddenly appeared out of nowhere as I was doing a final run-through of the new stuff today before wrapping it all up, things like combat randomly not starting and other very odd things like that. This is going to require some considerable troubleshooting most likely, which means in the extreme short term that unless these issues just as randomly go away as they appeared (hey you never know, this is ToEE after all), there will be no modpack today. Depending on how severe it is, there may be no modpack for the next several days.

    Sorry. :( I'll keep you all posted here.

    Do you have a backup of that build?
    It sounds very similar to a bad install.

    lol, yeah. @sirchet, I have lots of backups but being as my install is a 'fluid' WIP based on a long-ago activation, there really is no such thing as a bad install for me. (And if I were to deactivate the current module, all new modding since the last release would be gone - save for backups. :))

    At any rate, I think I got this stuff sorted (seems to have been a few rogue mobs), so after some more QA testing we should be good to go.

    Tip: I think the new Verbobonc material may be a contender for 'most-immersive' chapter in the game. In playtesting I've actually startled myself a few times, which is no small feat for a dev. ;) Just goes to show that such a thing was possible with this game engine, if enough time and effort had been applied.

    Update - should be ready tomorrow, people, though it will be evening (GMT -5), and that of course is subject to ModDB's authorization whims. I think I've sorted most of these problems though, just need a bit more QA. :)

    any forthcoming screenshots of the awesome new dungeon environs of the "Sewers of Verbobonc"? :) I know you are keeping the plot(s) under wraps, that's cool, but i'm sure some of us are quite curious what kind of sludge we will soon be adventuring through...!

    I'm pretty much thinking the sewers will just be there, any mobs most likely will be added at a later time.

    And Gaear, by saying "just be there" I don't mean ... well you know. I'm sure it exudes AWESOMENESS and everything. ;)
