Well first I would like to say as always good job and thanks for all your hard work, I have been away from the game for about 8 months or so and finally got around to downloading 7.3.3
So far I am early in the game so haven't noticed anything new from 6.1 the last time I played, except unfortunatly a constant CTD.
Game loads fine and plays fine but anywhere from 30-90 mins in get the ToEE has stop working/responding message and CTD.
I never had any issues with this with version 6.1 or if I did it was rare, but this ones pretty constant. This seems to happen anywhere of course I am early in the game so only been to homlett, welkwood, and delko but it has happened in both homlett and welkwood and doesn't seem to be related to any one event or activity..I can reload and move past the point it happened and it will happen 30-90 min latter again.
I did not make any changes to my settings when I activated mod 7.0 after downloading or module/patch 7.3.3.....I am wondering if its as simple as some map anti-analysing (sp) or screen resolution issue that I had chked/unchked or changed in the previous mod and went back by default on activating the new one. I have looked through the forums and don't see anyone with the same issue since the new mod came out, so I don't think its a bug I believe its just a simple fix on my part and just need help pinpointing it.
As far as screen resoultion it says 1024x768x32 in the main menu screen of the game, and I cant tell whats checked if anything in the ToEE frount end option menu. The graphics look the same (size and quality) as I remeber from 6.1 so I dont think there was any changes upon activating the mod.

My play through is still going strong. Just cleared the first level of the temple and did a lot of other extra things. I have not gone to Verb or Moathouse respawn.

Quick question, has anyone ever seen a Drelb before? In my hundreds of hours I met my first one outside the Temple after I rested. It was a ghost type creature and I think only magic can hit it. Anyway, it would make for a great model to use for other adventures. Just wondering if it is vanilla or if someone added it.

I love the idea that it sometimes shrinks itself as it glides closer to look like it's moving away.

 

I played through the moat respawn and the drow w/ witches sister quests tonight. All was well except the drow leader had no lootable armor. Only magic boots and magic sword.

 

You are right and it is guarding a cool weapon.

Ok, I am confused. I cant find this room and do not think I ever have. I just cleared the air temple and did not find a drelb.... You mention it guards a cool weapon, is it in a chest? The only chests I found is the high clerics, the minotaurs, and the 'werewolf' chest but nothing was guarding it (I forget what it had). Normally secret doors are easy to spot due to the different coloring and the way light passes through them. Any hints?

Also, didn't that mirror in the air temple used to talk or do something?

 

There is a hidden door in the circular room that has the 3 Air Elementals. There is no chest.

In the north east corner of the room where the huge fight takes place if you have wiped out the other floors? Your cursor turns into a glove when it passes over the wall.

The mirror talks if the temples aren't in defensive mode, that is in fact part of the fire temple

Never seen that. Learning new things about vanilla ToEE everyday!

 

'teleporters in the castle does not work.. is this a known bug in 7.3.3 ?
