Speaking of swords, Cujo has requested we define stats for the Darkblade. Please post your thoughts and opinions on its stats in the Darkblades thread with information from a Dragon Magazine issue. Lord_Spike has already posted his opinion there. Thanks..
About Prince equipment - mayby you are right - you know, I didn't play the oroginal P'n'P Toffee module - I'm only reading Thomas Reid's book now (and playing cRPG Toffee, of course :gotmyatte )- so mayby I don't read it enough carefuly aper: And i'm sorry for this lingual mistake about "deer" and a "hart" - I'm not an Englishman origin. I live in Polnad - and you know - our polish translator make sometimes some language-crap in translations. I forgot tha deer is also a name for "female", wright? So "hart" is only "male" deer, some kind of noble name - more proper when using in knight brotherhood name, yes?? And now the most silly part - do your everybody know how our translator translate "bugbears" in cRPG Toffee? ...... ....well, they are "Orkliny" (it could be >>Orclins<< in english, or something like that). So I'm reading the book (there is a proper translation for "bugbears") and playing game the same time... and wandering: "Where the hell are those all "bugbears" (first time palying I had a full-polish version) in game - and why there are none of "orcklins" in book?" :smarty:
I agree with you - there could be some worse stuff. It remind me somwthing... You know, here in Poland, we have our cult Epic Role-Playing Game called "The Crystals Of Time" - and guys who create this RPG a was whole damn bunch of specialists in many sphere of science (like war history, biology, phisics) - so we don't have this problem with mistakes in historical-based weapons, but... they started to create a whole new weapons - weapons that even never exist in a real world or any fantasy world. I was a pretty good job - but they also "invented" a 2 new groups of weapons, called "Szlapary" (in english: "shlapars") and "Tarsary" (in english "tarsars"). It was a really deadly weapons - well-trained urukhai with tarsar (tarsars are orc's national weapon) colud masacrate a giant with a single strike - but nobody knows how those weapons looks like. Those weapons had damages, weight and others statistics in equipment part, but there was no descriptions and grafix, even no single draw... Unfortunatelly, about 1999 "Crystals" project was close - and we have no weapon errata to this day. There are many "Crystals" fnasites novadays, but "tarsars" are still the greatest mystery in RPG world history - everybody has his own theory about "what the hell is that?" or "what does it look like?" Funny, doesn't it? :X So I have an official request: If somebody find out what tarsars looks like - mayby there is such a weapon in real life, in somewhere ancient civilization... please send me a message (whole "Crystals" community will be grateful )
No. Agetian, you never told us you developed Toffee for PnP first! Yes it does! Actually you're doing pretty well with the language overall, Shadow. I'm just funnin' ya. You'll be fine.
Sheesh, Gaear! Talk about nitpicking, he should tell you to buck off! :evil_laug Come to think of it, if you have bucks and does, wtf is a hart? And where do stags fit in?
you left one behind Ted but don't have a cow... Depending on the species, male deer are called stags, harts, bucks or bulls, and females are called hinds, does or cows.
Well, tnx - anyway - whatever you want to say... But tell me - why do you always changing gfx avatar?? Do you think this will help - and I don't recognize you on the street ?? :hahano: Only kidding - don't take it personal :mrhappy:
What? Sorry - mayby I'm only orc-paladin with Int 3, but what is this >>SNL<<. Never hear about it... What can I say more... Orcs rule the world! ORCS RULE THE WORLD!!! [Diabolique laugh from behind:  ] Buhahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!! WE RULE THE WORLD!!! WE RULE THE WORLD!!!
You got it - keep everyone guessing! I was fooling around for a bit in response to Agetian's "What's in your name" thread, but as you can see I'm back to my old self, to stay.
