That's good to know. I'm already paying extra attention (as I should've to begin with). This leads to another question though: My Bard is supposed to be able to identify certain items or at least give some background about them. I assume this means SHIFT-Clicking on the item. Do I actually have to hand the items to the bard though, or do any items I collect always show their lore if they have any? Heh, I actually tend to be like that too. But in ToEE I think I'd rather sell stuff to get the money I need for buying the REALLY cool items. That would take ages if I only sold mundanes... Some stuff just isn't worth keeping when you can get a boatload of gold for it. Thanks for the clarification. So I guess that's just a limit to keep novices from making 8 characters and missing out on all the cool NPC interactions, right? Makes sense. Still, I'm not a big fan of NPCs, so I think I'll stick with my 8-man crew, even at the price of a few good sidequests. I believe this is the first Classic RPG I've played that allows such a large team, and I'm really enjoying the interaction between all the different classes at the same time.
