Is there a builtin limit to AC? With masterworks plate enhanced+3, materwork 3 metaltowershield enhanced+3, ringofprotection+2 and dexterity 16 or better AC31 seems to be as high as player can go?
Each armor has a maximum Dexterity bonus allowed. Fullplate has a Max Dex of +1. So no matter how high your Dexterity is, you're never going to get more than +1 AC from it. Other than that, there's no hard-coded limit that I'm aware of.
