A question about Scather

I did download the 60 meg file but as I've said I am not sure how to get the new voices or portraits installed. I was reading somewhere on here that I have to go in and change something over to get the portraits to install. It would be worth a restart for me if I had different portraits to work with. The only one I really liked of the originals was the black haired elf woman in green. Added to all of this I see there is a 4.1 patch which includes a fix for Smigmal Redhand. Perhaps there are new portraits implimented there? I primarily use the Charismatic and Nature Dweller voices right now.
In my P-n-P D&D game we had devised the "elvish saber" which uses the stats of a katana but has two differences in it one it is classified as an "elven weapon proficiency" for elves. The second was the critical threat was 18-20/x2. Not every elf runs around with them but the elite ones do. Although it seems overpowering the question is what do you expect from a race that lives up to 1000+ years? They will come up with something nasty at some point and not all of it will be magic related.
The P-n-P reference however has nothing to do with ToEE. It is just a bit of unasked for information.
Sooner or later I will figure out how to change things over and get the new portraits and voices to work.
