    I am playing the 5.0.5 version of the mod for the first time and I am noticing a couple 'bugs'. I'll keep updating this post as I find them.

    1) Lvl 7 Ranger just tried to open the lock on the chest next to the blacksmith and failed. Then I clicked the chest and it opened and showed nothing in it.. a little confused.
    2) My ranger is able to cast a lvl 1 spell, but no spells are known... Usually he knows some by default.

    Question: Isn't senshock (boss wizard on lvl 4) supposed to drop his robe when he dies? I vaguely remeber that he did and made my character look amazing when I played the Trokia version. Playing 5.0.5 now and it did not drop (twice).

    While trying to move my 8-member party around Nulb, they are suddenly transported to Ophelia. This has so far happened twice. Or, perhaps, it is a Trader's Mod issue?

    Is the game just trying to tempt me to check out the non-animal employees of the Snake Pit?

    Great news about the release of CMF 5.0.6. Any ball-park idea when or if the Traders Mod, Reactive Temple Mod, and Meleny Mod might be included? If they are never to be incorporated, how does one add them one-by-one in what order?

    The various mods in development will be added to the CMF whenever their authors determine they're ready. There's no real way we can set timetables for this stuff - people are doing it on their own time, and at their own speed, so ... 'released when done' is the best we can do.

    @Basil Re Meleny Mod

    There are at least *two* Meleny mods in production -- mine (which is more aptly named Evil Athlea) and, I believe, Gaear's barnyard romp.

    I haven't played for ages, so I'm running a TN party through to regain my footing - currently I'm in the Temple. I'm trying to do DH so I don't step on Ted's toes when I do my edits. I'm hoping to be through play-testing by the end of August. I will then save out my "work in progress" changes and reinstall up to CMF 5.06 and see what's changed with the NPCs I need to edit (Meleny, Athlea, Filliken, Terjon, Marek, protos.tab at least). I hope to have a Beta quality build by the end of September. My mod likely will include support for PCs to be Old Faith, which likely adds another month.

    Depending on when Gaear does his mod, there may be some manual merging necessary.

    Also, I work full time (new job even), and as much as I like modding, my mortgage comes first :)rant: real life). So, like Gaear said, it will be ready when it's ready.

    At least I know I can count on one Beta tester :)

    Thank you for the rough time frame. I can certainly ask for nothing more than "ready when it is ready". A little heads up helps by allowing us to plan what party to use for the time being until a reinstall / restart is necessary.

    Let me know what I can do to help.

    Gaear - does your fix for the problem of cross file use in KotB and ToEE (latest submission to CMF thread at the time of this post) need to be installed after installing KotB to work?

    No. It can actually be installed into any module, as long as that module is currently activated, and it will then be permanent across all modules.

    Does this mean that, at present, only one module in a front end should active at any time? In other words, deactivate Orion before activating V&W?

    Yes, but it's only possible for one module to be active at a time anyway.

    Perhaps we mean different things by "active". I have Orion's mod running. I closed down. Reopened the Front End, started the 4.0.1 mod, it created the 300mb file, started and I went all the way to the shop map with no problems. This is without "deactivating" the Orion mod.

    Thats a DC 35, and you gain 1000xp for deactivating that thing :icon_chuc

    Playing ToEE for the first time in ages. Its great to see that you guys are still tweaking and improving this game after 5 years. Wow!

    Currently Jade Empress does not sell a halberd. Having now found the thread discussing whether halberds have reach and whether they use their own weapon proficiency or guisarme instead perhaps this is a good thing. Taking out the halberd weapon focus so it can't be picked at chargen if its not used would seem to be the next logical step.

    One observation - is the challenge rating for persuading the miller to allow Erliter to convert set a little high? With the max 4 skill ranks and +2 from charisma I was unable to persuade him. This means several minor Hommlet quests can't be completed at level 1. Not too much of an issue in normal mode but ironman i would not want to go to deklo grove and face the spiders + Jay's ring encounter or to the moathouse and meet the bandit chief before hitting level 2. The hommlet quests used to get you over the 1k exp mark before you needed to face any challenging fights.

    I originally came here to post that I was having an issue with the ability to turn undead. My level dwarf 2 cleric is being told he has no charges, but I now realise that's probably because he is uglier than a half-orc. Time to go reroll a fighter with a different polearm and a cleric with some charisma. :)
