I thought they had, on closer inspection it seems the SKA files had been left out, I've fixed this and will re-upload shortly (takes about 15 minutes).

First, the good news: the .dll seems fine. I tested the very last thing added to take it 16.0.3 - the medium armour / heavy armour proficiency bug fix - which, if I understand it correctly, is working fine. I had a rogue and ranger take medium armour proficiency at level 3 and neither could thereby wear gilded full plate.

Also, as you can tell, my rogue was able to level up and take his feat without crashing. So it all works :)

Now, the bad news (one of those really ridiculous bugs you wonder how people even found them - and let me preface it by saying yes, I am ashamed).

We had gilded plate armour because while trying to pick the armourer's pocket on the Shopmap we got caught and he turned violent (picking his pocket is stupid, i know, but I blew all my money on a composite bow for my ranger and my rogue and wizard were both unarmed  It was pick his pocket or restart). Well, he attacked me, and just to show the Mersenne can be a good fella too, he missed both AoOs on my Rogue and Wizard when they threw unarmed punches at him, then my Ranger nailed him with the composite bow (-4 into-melee notwithstanding) and he was dead. And we looted him.

The bug? Jade Empress and the other shop guys just stood there.

Brother Smyth sells a Masterwork Great Cleaver for only 7 GP (I confess: I bought it because I couldn't resist the bargain... :peace: ). The other weapons of this value range are all well over 200 GP.

That's interesting because the magic masterwork cleaver in the temple is also worth near/same amount.

If it were given it's full price it would probably be closer to the 8310 GP mark but at that price there is absolutely no reason that every one and his dog would marry Fruella then butcher her before Terjon has said "you may now kiss the bride..... errr .....corpse." ;)

Another Fruella murderer I see. What is the latest protos price on the cleaver?
Why doesn't someone put remove_npc in her dlg file? With humble_npc, get the cleaver and the xp for the quest, then dismiss her. I did it 2 years ago. Simple and easy to do. Saves a little hassle, except for the CE killers who enjoy such things.

I understand that the price on that particular weapon has been lowered to avoid possible exploit from the users but I personally think that it'd be better to have its price consistent with the rest of the weapon of that kind.

After all, if a person wants to cheat, he does anyway. Better to patch the game so that "honest" players won't incur in similar inconsistencies.

I have solved both the mini-quests related to Mickey but I still find him at evenings in Nulb telling me that "he has learned the lesson and won't ever go back to that evil town" (while he was in fact in Nulb at his usual place)... -_-

Are you sure that's not a bug? I seem to remember that he did in fact stay in Hommlet after you complete the Orb of Sah and brothel quests. Maybe I'm mistaken, but even if it isn't a bug that he would still be found in Nulb, his dialog would certainly indicate that he is supposed to be in Hommlet when the line is spoken.

I tihnk its a bug. All Mickey's dialogue (there's a lot of branches) suggests to me if you finish both quests he stays away from Nulb after that.

Quite right, it is a bug. But it is funnier if he's lying.

It would be funnier if you caught him lying - he says the "learned my lesson" line in Hommlet, then has different dialog if you catch him in Nulb again.

That could very easily be done... but is it really Mickey's fault? "I've tried to change, I swear, but every night I just find myself back here... its like I have no will of my own!"

I find that whole storyline a little silly, to be honest. Is Mickey really making the four hour trip to Nulb every evening, and then four hours back every morning, then working the brewery days in Hommlet? It would be a bit more realistic if he and a gang of hooligans blew into town once a month or so and wrecked the place.

His traits are also a bit contradictory: he's able to intimidate everyone in a brothel (which should have a couple burly bouncers like our own finer establishments do), but all we have to do to get him to straighten out is put him in a headlock?

These sorts of inconsistencies certainly contribute to making ToEE's story as weak as it is.
