Axl, if you think my ambush fix is serviceable, we may want to remove yours from up the CMF submissions thread. Mine didn't include Lareth's .py file (not sure what you changed in that).

Certainly Gaear. While I'm here, your dialogue fixes, does Terjon's new dialogue also include Ted's fix?

Thanks Gaear, I think I'll upload a new CMF version just to get these problems ironed out.

I've looked into the dialogue files for the female and male prisoners who tell you about Verbobonc's location, the files are almost identical to the versions in 5.0.4 there were only a couple of spelling mistakes in the NPC's dialogue, not the code. Perhaps an incorrect version of temple.dll was added to your install? Or a patch 1 version of the No-CD patch maybe?

I recall ShiningTed asked for the DLL with the fix for Rogues and Windows 98 computers be added to the new CMF for its installation.

New CMF uploaded, I put the win98 temple.dll in this one even though it seemed to be younger than the one from the 5.0.4 CMF. I hope it works ok, there wasn't any docs with it.

Thanks Al. Not sure why it would be younger, I checked all that pretty thoroughly when I realised the new one hadn't been added to the CMF yet, but time willl tell.

I'll keep a close eye on any .dll related bugs to see if there is a problem.

This seems to be a distance/LOS thing. If you fight them where they can see you - they all join in.

re. Lubash battle. What fix is currently in CMF?

    Temple.DLL from ShiningTed
Windows 98 fix for Rogues modified Thursday, February 22, 2007

    Temple.DLL 16.0.3 official modified date Sunday, January 21, 2007, 4:50:48 PM
DLL v16 -Fixes the crash bug at rogue feat selection introduced in v15.

    I would suggest Temple.DLL 16.0.3 be used.
    http://files.co8.org/mods/dllfix16.0.3.rar

Anyway, the updated Temple.DLL is located in the modules\Co8-5.0.0 folder and has to be copied to and overwrite the Temple.DLL located in the parent game folder to be implemented.

FWIW, the female prisoners allowed me to escort them to Verbebonc without a problem in 5.0.5. Haven't encountered the male ones yet.

However, when I talk to Aris/Aria/BotB-chick in Verbebonc and say "That's quite a collection of scrolls" it boots me out of dialogue and does not bring up the scroll shop.

Not with ToEEFE krunchy me ol' mucker, KotB has it's very own custom .dll which would probably do horrible things to your game if you used it for ToEE.

Ok, yes Ariel was missing the B: bit of her dialogue code - I'm uploading the CMF again with the fix included. I'll up load it here so you don'thave to wait another 15 mins just to download a tiny file, it goes in the data/dlg folder.

My KotB and ToEE files are in entirely separate, distinct folders. So, it would not muck mine. :)

true...if someone had both ToEE and KotB installed to the same path

ok, well the CMF is updated again now, including the Ariel fix and a file for the Drow spidersilk armour that seems to have been left out dispite me fixing this before, so hopefully no more CTD's in Verbononc. :)

Sorry to pile on Al, but I noticed that our kobolds are still screeching like lizardmen in 5.0.5. Did all the audio stuff get rolled in?
