Jadefang - you've started a fresh game and are already at lvl 9?

Try using the new .dll referenced in the CMF thread, I believe it addresses exactly that bug.

Maybe the fix works only with fresh characters?
Go to a tavern and create one, then console it
the same stats and level your former rogue had. ;)
Also make sure that the temple.dll in your root folder
is the same as in co8 in modules folder.

The only known (to me at least) issue with rogue feat crashes was in dllfix15. It should not happen with any CMF that has v16+, so my guess is that for some reason you still play with the v15 dll.

...or there is a new problem out there, and then I don't want to hear about it. ;)

well I think it may still be there since I have dll 16 and have installed it, and for the other question I did it with a newly created character and then on the 1st screen I came to leveled him up to 3rd to see if it was still there so I didnt lose any play time from it.

Seriously, do as maggit said and copy the dll from your modules\Co8-5.0.0 folder to your ToEE root directory. If you still get the crash after that, then you do not have the CMF installed, or installed correctly. With dll fix v16+ I have taken a rogue up to level 12 with no problems.

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you chano. I forget where those posts were.

Someone else had the exact same problem four weeks ago. Check out posts 450-457 in this thread. We got the problem solved eventually. It seems the issue was the incorrect installation of the 5.0.x patch. My suggestion is to re-install 5.0.2 after very carefully reading through the install instructions in the 5.0.x CMF thread.

That sounds like a game glitch. I can't see how any Co8 mods could have caused that.

Once again, not Co8 related. I'm sorry to have to mention this, but this thread is for bugs from or comments on the 5.0.x patches. Not getting your unholy water because your inventory is full is a player issue, not an issue with the 5.0.x patch. And it's definitely not a bug.

Attitude check...you realize those here are volunteering their time to help make this game everything it can be given the limitations imposed by not having the source code, right? This makes it extremely difficult to do anything without innovation (and in many cases) sheer genius...so ease up a bit, please!

Yes, that's true, but you've missed the point he was trying to make that it wasn't caused by a Co8 mod or fix to the best of his knowledge, and he arguably has the most of anyone here who mods it...so,again, with the attitude!!!

At least you said thanks...sort of. You seem like a smart person...Try again with all of this now that you've had a chance to consider the error of your ways.

Sergent Magor Lord_Spike, once again reminding all of us how extremely lucky we are to have a group of very talented and patient people constantly improving TOEE in spite of our lack of appreciation,

I for one am happy we have someone who will draw a line in the sand, (so to speak)

I was just letting you know it was not caused by anything Co8 has done.
"Wrong" is in the eye of the beholder. This game does not hand hold the player to that extent. If a player is foolish enough to not make sure his characters have room in their inventory, they miss out. Thus in my eyes this is a player issue.

There is no built in function in this game for determining if a characters inventory is full. We could write one, but it would involve going through the list of everything a character could possibly be carrying, looking for every instance of each of those items in the characters inventory, counting the number of items found in this way, and comparing it to the number of visible inventory slots the player can access. I say visible because the characters have some 200 inventory slots, only 40 of which can be accessed by the player, and some of those can take only specific items. The game can access all of those slots: Most likely your character does have the unholy water but you just can't see, or use, it. As you can see, this function would be quite cumbersome and unwieldy, but it is the only way we have to do it. Given that running such a function causes a "hesitation" in the game (and it does: I use a similar function for the Extraplanar chest and the "hesitation" is noticeable) is it really worth implementing when a player can just make sure the character always has an open slot?

And your sole purpose for existing is to breed.

That aside, I was trying to point out that you are continuing to post issues in this thread that have nothing to do with the 5.0.x CMF patches, which, I would hope one would gather, is the topic of this thread. I suppose I should have just summarily moved your posts rather than being nice and pointing out your error.
