    Something is triggering Belsornig to go into combat then. I've removed all the KOS flags from everything in that room, so nothing else in that room could make Belsornig go hostile, and the Juggernaut will only appear if Belsornig goes into combat. The only thing I can think of is the temple alert flag is being set somewhere else.

    I looked through the code again, and its not the Temple Alert Flag that makes Belsornig go hostile. Its the death of either or both of the two priests in the room with him. I can't replicate this bug, so I am at a standstill with it. What I need is a few saved games that show this bug, one before entering the 3rd level of the temple, and one just before entering Belsornig's room. Anybody got saves like that?

    Using Healing (skill) while in combat doesn't
    cause Attack of Opportunity. The rules say
    that whenever a character concentrates on
    something else (except for using Rage, etc)
    she provokes an AoO.

    Just finished the Fire Node and the Balor didn't do his death throws effect when killed. Has anyone else run into this problem in 5.x?

    With some help from Spellslinger (who had a save in which this was happening) I finally found the cause of combat initiating as soon as you step into the Water Temple.

    The cause was the Fog Cloud that one of the under-priests was casting as a pre-buff. The AI was interpreting it as a hostile action. It wasn't happening in my games because this under-priest was using the same global var pre-buffs as Kelno. This meant that either Kelno cast his first pre-buff, or the under-priest cast Fog Cloud. In my install Kelno usually won.

    Anyway, I've fixed it, and posted the fix in the CMF thread. It will be wrapped up soon into the CMF.

    I'm guessing Cujo's long coats aren't fully implemented in the latest Cumulative Fixes? I downloaded the latest 5.0.2, saw them on the list of updates and tried consoling them in. Caused a CTD. Same with the black studded leather.

    Mini-bug: when you talk to Furnok with a (semi) intelligent character sometime after catching him cheating, one of the two dialogue options is a low intelligence line. The first line is the "Hey, cheater . . ." one; the second line is something like "Me need help."

    I've found a bug of the same sort: when you talk to
    Riana. When you offer her to join your party the
    character (no matter the intelligence) says: "Me
    now ready for you".

    New Report: After Installing Co8 Cumulative Fixes 5.0.2
    (the new build) my party's reputation changed. I've lost
    "Grud Buddy" and gained Assassin even though I've never
    been to Verbobonc.

    (Fixed it with a console command, don't know if the bug
    occurs with a fresh-made party, though.)

    That will happen in any game in which you already had Grud Buddy as a reputation. We had to move some reputations around so that getting the Assassin rep would cause a Paladin to fall. A new game, or any game which has never had either of the reps will function normally.

    Heres a bug that I just got after uninstalling and then doing a clean install of co8 5.0.2 when I have an elven Rogue in my party when I go to levelup on lvl 3 as soon as I get to the feats box I'll get a ctd. I've uninstalled and reinstalled after getting the problem and its still there. I have installed the atari patches 1&2 then co8 5.0.0 then co8 5.0.2 then the portrait and voice pack v1. if I lvl him up as a different class I dont get the bug only if he's a rogue.

    Have you downloaded the latest 5.0.2 posted on 11-07-06? And earlier version of the dll fix (v14 IIRC) caused this bug (thought I don't think it made it into 5.0.2). The latest version of 5.0.2 does not have this bug. I just tested and confirmed that leveling a rogue to level 3 does not cause a CTD with the latest 5.0.2.

    I've run into a couple random encounters where the new placement puts enemies right along the left edge of the map, which means you can't do anything that involves the radial menu (charge, full attack, coup de grace) to the those opponents, as the menu appears off-screen. Very annoying when you cast sleep on a bunch of guys and have to try to shoot them and wake them up so you can try to kill them.

    Also, how is the Spot and Listen checks for the new encounter management determined? Is it pulling directly from the protos.tab or is going by the ranks the engine assigns to mobs when it spawns them? My first random encounter involved me getting jumped by skeletons (who aren't normally known for their stealth and guile) and nearly losing my rogue as they all won initiative and gang-beat her.

    One more thing, I haven't got to Verbebonc yet, but Hickory Branch doesn't actually show up on the map when you talk to Mona. I eventually figured out I could get there by clicking on the name on the right-hand side after a bit of head-scratching and cursing, but there's nothing visible or clickable on the map itself.

    That is correct, Spellslinger was unable to add worldmap icons to the worldmap itself, you have to click on the location name on the right hand side of the worldmap screen, the same thing for Verbobonc.

    thanks blue I was using an earlierversion I'll update it and see if that helps.

    Let the gnolls go, loaded the caravan map fix into the data directory, spent a lot of time tromping around but still haven't run into the ambushed caravan. Are the fixes meant to go in ToEE/Data (where they are now) or Toee/Modules/Co8/Data?
