line 11303 is missing from my protos but is in the descriptions.mes. I found out the hard way that I didn't have it and I think it might be breaking part of the new story line. now this might effect more than just me as I've released some stuff which wouldn't've had it there either.

Here is a list of the things, by protos number, that are different between the August 3rd and August 20th releases of the protos.tab file in the Co8 5.0.1 MOD updates.

    4021
    4022
    4189
    4228
    4236
    4237
    6486
    6487
    9678
    14120
    14472
    14547
    14551
    14554
    14641

Note: There is no entry for 11303. Thus, whatever 11303 was intended for was from before the August 3rd update.

ok from what I can tell 11303 isn't relevant to my game breaking bugs atm. but lareth is seriouly lacking dialogue options.

[EDIT] who wrote the new deklo grove encounter, talking to them might be easiest.

I seem to be missing a 2nd lvl Druidic spell, 4th on the list, just before Lesser Restoration.

    Got Krunch's 5.0.1+HB mod installed.

It's been missing since 5.0.0 came out Ted. Where have you been?

It's Warp Wood. Apparently I didn't remove it as thoroughly as I should have. JH's new Warp Wood spell will fix that.

I'm not really sure what this is all about... but when I was in a bulding (the one with the guy behind the counter) in Nulb, I cleared out a spell slot (I think of my cleric but it might've been my druid)by casting Summon Monster or Nature's ally (I don't remember) and summoned an Attack dog. Then I dismissed the spell, and even though I did, you could see what I can only describe as the ghost of the dog, that is, it still moved in place but it was transparent and didn't follow my party around. It was still there everytime I went into that building.

    Weird, huh?

Yeah, I had an invisible critter follow me for a while like a bodyguard - it is not unheard of when you dismiss NPC followers or animals. Just be glad yours actually left the party!

This was solved awhile ago (4.0, maybe?). I've had no problems casting spells with higher level slots. The game does it automatically if you try to cast a spell of a level you have no slots remaining for if you have a higher level slot available.

Re: 5.0.1 mods and fixes bug reports

Two things I've noticed in my new game:

    1) In Emridy Meadows, the bear was able to attack and kill my spiritual weapon. I thought this had been fixed a very long time ago, perhaps even by the second official patch?

    2) Web acts oddly, but the only "odd" thing that I know is a bug is sometimes when an enemy cuts across the area of effect (starting outside the web, crossing through, and then ending outside the web again), he may get a "saving throw failed", but still make it all the way across the web. Once outside the web, he never acts as if he had failed his save.

Spiritual Weapon was given hit points because no one has been able to figure out how to get the game to not attack it (and generally do so to the exclusion of all else). That was the only fix applied that I am aware of.

I must be misremembering the fix, then. I thought they had fixed it so that enemies ignored it.

Aha, I knew I had found a third bug, I just couldn't remember it earlier.

My poor, overworked fifth-level wizard is crafting new arms and armor for the party, and he's able to take the enhancement bonuses up to +3 (which he shouldn't be able to do until 9th level).

I also have had problems with my animal companions in the past. Once, I ad a black bear who all of a sudden went ape shit on my party and I had to kill it. Then I realized my druid had a buckler on so I think that might've had something to do with it. Then today, my jackal got killed so I raised it. It followed me around for a while, but then all of a sudden it wasn't a part of my party anymore, but it wouldnt attack me either. when i did a map change, he stayed on the other map.

Does a bear go ape shit in the woods? It does if the druid violates his druidical limitations, apparently! Damn that is funny!

Hmmm... could this be used to defrock a druid? Does the buckler stop him casting spells?

You are supposed to be nice to your animal companions. Don't be mean to them. :p
