Microsoft will cease support (including security updates) for Windows XP on 2014 April 8.

I thought they had announced a cut off date once before that came and passed.

IMHO Win7 Pro is XP reborn.

I use Pro for work and it has no problem being compatible with all of my automation software and access control. I'm even able to run a lot of Honeywell's outdated software for their ip camera systems too.

    So, yeah ... I guess I'm a fanboy. :p
