    I think we need a windows 7 sticky. once the I got the technique it runs great. The key was a GOG version of the game and running the CO8 software in as adminin. everything runs fine now and i'm currently clearing the moathouse

    Not sure if it needs a sticky or not, since, as a rule, one should "run as admin" anything that involves installing or modifying files under Windows 7. Although it only becomes important if your game directory is in Program Files - otherwise you don't even have to bother.
