    Hi Guys.
I am running Win7x86 Ultimate and have installed ToEE and Atari patches 1 & 2. Installed ToEE.exe Patch 2 no-cd crack. Installed Circle_of_Eight_Modpack_5.9.3_NC_BETA into root install of ToEE (C:\Games\Temple of Elemental Evil).

Set both ToEE.exe and TFE-X.exe to run in WinXP SP3 compatibility mode and as Administrator.

Successfully ran TFE-X.exe on 1st time pass through and got success pop-up.

Ran the ToEE Front-End X shortcut and it opened. Now the problem :(

When I select the Circle_of_Eight_Modpack_5.9.3_NC_BETA and click activate, it STALLS/LOCKS UP. Only way to fix is Alt-Ctrl-Del and wait for the the option of selecting Task Manager to shut it down. Does it every time !!!

    Any help ?
I have to use the no-cd crack as I cannot get ToEE to run normally under Win7x86 Ultimate.

I have verified what .NET framework is installed. Window screen-shot below.

How long did you want for it to do what it's supposed to do? It looks like it locks up, yes, but it will eventually finish and tell you it's done ;) It might take it up to 5 and 10 and even more minutes depending on your hardware. Be patient. If it's more than 10 minutes, then tell us again (and btw, by Ctrl-Alt-Deling out of it you have probably ruined your ToEE installation, so I'd recommend reinstalling).

P.S. Try also updating to ToEE Front-End X v3.0d (available from Other Downloads here), it's the latest version and it even features a nice pop-up window telling you NOT to ctrl-alt-del out of TFE-X and be patient until it finishes its long magic.
