This is my first post on this forum so hi everyone. My problem is that when i start the game it goes through the developer names and animations and after the wizard logo it crashes to the desktop giving me the "do you want to send this error report" dialog. Anybody know how to fix this?
Sorry...some clarification is needed. I have the 2nd Official patch, the Co8 fan patch 3.03 and the level cap remover installed as well.
I can sympathize... I got crashes with the latest Co8 fan patch 3.04, but reinstalled under 3.03 and run just fine. The only CDT I get now is when I end the game, which always happened regardless of the patch. I don't know why yours is crashing, but I can vouch for 3.03. I just found out there is a bug with 3.04 where you need to get a new startup file which was causing the crash.
First off, use the batch file called disableintromovies or something like this in your TOEE directory. Then make sure you have DirectX 9.0b or c (I recommend b). You may have a trouble with an interpreter of the movies, is my guess. If you continue having the problem, scream again. Good luck!
