Why do non-hostiles pop up after resting?

    I've noticed that in certain areas, if you get an encounter while resting, the mobs will not always be hostile. In the greater temple as an example, on the south side before the long hallway with the sparks in the floor, you can rest in the room with the table and pile up a whole room of mobs.

    I was doing that for awhile in my game and then quick/normal fireballing them with my wizard and plowing through 30+ at once.

    Can probably provide a SS if necessary.

    I've noticed that also in the secret passageway in DL3
