I told Senshock that Hedrack ordered me to kill him then he said that he had the solution. I had rested for a really long time (maybe a month or more) in Lareth's tower (I rescued him from Hommlet) before I went to check him. But I couldn't find him anywhere in level 4. Where is he? Did Hedrack kill him? Or did he flee to Verbobonc (post Z)?
This is how it is coded to work. He always disappears from the the original ToEE if you don't kill him. He usually shows up in Verbonc with the expansion - if you didn't attack him- but iirc it can bug out in a rare case and he does not reappear.
