where is absalom

Hello I am trying to try the narcing on the scarlet brotherhood quest and trying to get wilfrick to talk to me about completing the slavers quest. There is a guy in the constabulary named "officer" behind the bar that wont talk to me . Wilfrick wont give me any dialog to discuss the completion of the slavers quest. please help. by the by Great stuff this mod is !!!

 

Once you have fought the slavers you'll be transported to Wilfric.

Hello there. I have 8.01 installed - after killing the slavers I get ported to constabulary but still I cannot complete the slavers quest. There is no dialog option from Wilfric or anyone else.

 

Shadire, when you click on the ? in the lower right corner of the screen and then on the Circle of Eight at the top of the list does it say 8.0.1, or 8.0?

 

You're right, I have 8.0.0 indeed. Strange because I am pretty sure I ran 8.0.1 installation before playing but can't argue with fact.

Is it possible to apply 8.0.1 to current saves retroactively or will I have to run new game to benefit from patch fixes?

You should be able to continue using an 8.0.0 save with an 8.0.1 patched game.

You will have to go back to save from before you ever entered any area in question due to most things being controlled with a heartbeat script, (fires when you first enter a map or area).
