Please vote and indicate any other caveats you may be constrained by, i.e., download size limitations, that sort of thing.

This poll is for the purpose of determining the community's needs for any limitations on mod size for 4.0.0.

I acknowledge that this will not account for one-stop-shoppers, of whom there are many, who come here only to grab the mod and run.

cable (without exception) -> 200 KB/sec = 1,600 Kbps is somewhat of a slower download rate

I have cable as well. Once you have broadband you can never go back.

Currently I have dial up, but we're planning to get broadband REAL soon (hence the telephone company swapping ordeal - couldn't get broadband on my old line).

I liked Agetian's comment the first time I ran the 4.0.0 size issue past him:

    "Some BG mods are 400mb+"

    :D

I do not know about other people using a cable connection, but I can download a single file download of about 500+ MegaBytes in size in about 21 or 22 minutes from a fast download web or ftp site.

since im staying in missouri i can use the dsl line,i had hooked up a wireless but trying to load pages was to much hassle for my stepmom so if i download i will have to copy it onto a cd or something. (still alot better than 24.0 bps on my dialup in michigan)

I match the 2 cans and string, beacause actually a have a dialup connection but this is a very shitfull dialup (however on ISDN modem, so sometimes downloading about 50Mb file it's not a problem - only one and a half hour of sitting on comp late at night :doublethu ). But mayby in a year (or only few mont - or 2 years, in a worst case) that gehenna will finally and - thanks to the cable or DSL...
