What is the process involved to change recruitable NPCs' stats?

    Greetings, all!

    I recently felt encouraged to play ToEE again and wanted to change recruitable NPC stats - feats, skills, spells, classes, and starting items - hypothetically all of them. I also wanted to have at least some of them use new material from mods like T+ and ShiningTed's spell mod. How best to do this?

    You have a couple of options. One is editing their protos, which is generally well documented here, so I'm just going to add that I'm not sure it can parse the new stuff from Temple+.

    The other option is one-off editing using the DM - activate the DM and right click on a character to edit.

    Since I want to have these modified stats available to all, what's the official process for editing the protos? I've read some tutorial threads, but I want to hear from your expertise.
