Ok, off-topic, but OK she hates KotOR, Morrowind, Baldur's Gate > 1 (even though she keeps playing 2), modern games, adventure games and it seems rts and I reckon most action rpgs. She also hates this mod's extra spells saying they're unnecessary fan-made changes https://lilura1.blogspot.com/2020/0...778-temple-dll.html?showComment=1699183882192 . I think she hates all things so I don't think I trust her but she makes detailed guides on old rpgs. I'm sure I forgot some games but that's such a large swathe of games. I think she only likes the 2016 Dungeon Rats for modern games. Pepega!
Morrowind was free a couple years back on its birthday, worth it at twice the price. EDIT: Yes, I was aware of her disdain for our new content, which is her opinion. But this is interesting: "fan-made spells and items" Fan made. While I only stood on the shoulders of giants like Livonya and Ag, calling my efforts to add core PHB stuff 'fan-made items' rankles.
Yeah weird. What are the PHB ones and what aren't? Some of them like Vigor and Ray of Clumsiness seem non-core/PHB. Which is which? The mod seems confused. Also I put it in the bugs section. Familiar leveled up and tolub's items lootable while alive. Also since this seems on-topic. Is Heavy Crossbow essentially better Light Crossbow and Repeating Crossbow in this game? I'm not noticing a separate reload. Does Rapid Reload turn the reload action free in both so you can avail with Rapid Shot? While I'm at it with the questions, do familiars take up a party member slot such that you can't recruit or do escort quest when you have 7 party members and a familiar? I think Morrowind was free 6 years ago old man!
To my present understanding, all the new spells from T+ and Co8 are official spells, but some are non-core like vigor and ray of clumsiness and scintillating sphere.
Official doesn't really help in making it seem that it's not random by how many books there are and the content seems pulled out of a motley of sources.. Don't get me wrong. The default game is lacking in feats and races.
Yeah, that's why some of the additional spells are in seperate downloads like the Bucket of Spells. The non-core ones do stick out and hence are kept seperate, some of the times. You'd be amazed at how some folks don't understand why that is - you clearly get it. I'll take the blame for Ray of Clumsiness, I pestered Darmagon to make it and put it in since it is so close to Ray of Enfeeblement it seemed silly not to have it. Repeating Crossbow is OP as it doesn't have the seperate 'reload the whole magazine every 6 shots', but still needs the EWP: so you spend a feat on Rapid Reload for a light crossbow, or you spend a feat on EWP for a repeater. Rapid Reload for a heavy crossbow turns it from a full action to a move action, for memory.
Oh that's disappointing then. Figured if Repeating Crossbow's bugged in this game then Heavy Crossbow's bugged also. Apparently Lilura also hates proc-gen and leveled lists smh I'm assuming non-core spells are in New Content but not in Standard. Since I also have it, is Temple+ segregating Co8 core and non-core spells except for some weird stuff like Ray of Clumsiness? Also Greater Magic Weapon into can't get out of inventory and raven summon crash. I'm hoping I get lucky next time!
Well, procedural generation is not for everyone, but it makes for a different game each time. I like it myself, KotB has a couple of places (big outdoor maps) where monsters vary randomly or react by level (just a couple), and Marc adding leveled monsters is, I tihnk, a good thing, but she doesn't have to agree.
Marc as in a Co8 developer? I'm having trouble discerning which are Temple+ added spells and which are Co8 added spells or if that's even applicable with the Standard Co8 edition. I just found a clip of ToEE where a level 9 Bard attacked twice with a Heavy Crossbow. I assume he has Rapid Reload. Wouldn't that not be the case because the reload move action prevents you from attacking again? I assume this wouldn't be the case if Heavy Crossbow's reload mechanic worked like Light Crossbow in this game. Also, I'm guessing from this index that tiny rapier and small quarterstaff are the only smaller versions of weapons running around in merchant's stores. Is small quarterstaff one-handed? What are these tiny versions for? I'm assuming Tiny Rapier is always a light weapon. Also is Shovel a 1d8 20x3 weapon or 1d8 20x2 weapon? The UI has different conflicting texts.
