Weapon and magic console list

    I am trying some rudimentary modding and would like to know where the game item list is for all magic items, armour and weapons. I am going to try to start to learn how to mod.

    In your Data/Mes folder, you'll find a doc called description.mes: open it with Wordpad and in the 4000s you'll find the weapons and in the 6000's you'll find the armour (and so on for potions, scrolls and wondrous items).

    Thats the list. To mod them, you'll need to get Phalzyr's ProtoEd from the Tools section and use it to open the protos.tab in Data/Rules. Make a backup before changing anything.

    I can't seem to find any folder with description.mes on it in the data/rules folder.

    Could it be missing or elsewhere?
