Version control (friendly suggestion)

    Given that Circle of Eight is working on various patches AND Troika is working on an "official" patch (maybe), I strongly suggest that whoever is release engineering the CoE patch use some version control system -- Perforce or CVS -- so that when the official Troika patch comes out, you can merge and detect conflicts with some reasonable chance of success.

    Just a thought.

    Yeah.. I've already asked about that..

    We use clearCase at work, but I don't have an unused *nix box laying around, and I don't need all the headaches of configuring it.

    I started looking for something late yesterday..

    If you have any suggestions I'm open to them,,

    I hinted at this earlier, but another reason why we want to release the fan fixes before troika is that Huy can most likely merge our changes into troikas patch.
