I have the spanish version of the game, and it has bugs as the original had, unluckyly! My question is, do the official patches work in this version? I don't want my computer crashing up... thanx!

Orion would know better (unless he's not using an Italian version).. but they should work with any version. The problem you may have is with anything which alters or adds text or dialogue as these will not necessarily be translated.

Hopefully someone playing with a non-English version can help confirm/deny this.

The official patches 2 & 3 do work with the localized versions. However, after installing either of the patches, all onscreen text will be in English. I made a localization update which solves this problem for the German version, but as far as I know there's no such update for the Spanish one.

If you can live with English onscreen texts, go ahead and install official patch 2, Co8 mod pack 3.04 & the temple fix by moebius2778. That should get rid of a whole lotta bugs! And of course you could give Liv's beta mod a try ...

    Anybody called me? Bwhahaaha! :D
No, really. patch 2 and 3 works great on my italian one: more stability and less bugs on dialogues. I used both of them and then add all Co8 stuff, including awesome Liv's. So, I guess they will be fine on spanish too.
if you don't speak english very well, use this chance to improve it :) I learened it with videogames on SEGA MegaDrive/Genesis! Ah, how many memories, how many days spent with Sword of Vermillion!

    Thanks!

Ok, thanks a lot to all of you! I don't mind playing in English, and the voices aren't translated anyway, so I'll install the patches right away!
Gee! I hope now I can really see what the woman downstairs the church says! And maybe finish the FIliken's quest! Although I do not know if that's a bug...
    Tel you later!
    Bye!
