Just curious...... I went to Verbobonc using the weapons trader route, and got to Verb, and once there if I leave Verb will not show up on my world map. I know it doesn't show as a spot, but only in the list on the right, but it does not show here. I went back again using the armour trader, and same thing, Verb did not show up. I cannot go back. Only go to twice. Is this the way it is supposed to be? I remember the past where it could be gone to at will or have things changed with 5.0.4?
The same thing happens to me, only that I can go back as I wish. Maybe it's because I never go through that routes (I go via Temple prisioners, mostly). Which are the traders you say?
Verbobonc Won't show up on the map. It's listed on the right side of the map screen. Just click on the word "Verbobonc" to go there.
That is funny. I know the 2 girls you are referring to and they did not give me the option of taking them to Verbobonc. I suspect it could be I had a full party when I did it. Down on level 2 there are prisoners that will take you to Verb. They are the weapons trader and the armourer. It is highly recommended you free them otherwise they will not show up in Verb and you want what they offer.
They appear later in Verbobonc as merchants, and could buy stuff and all? I think that they where removed from the lastest CMF, so you're probably running an old version. I'm running 5.4, and they never show up. You got another merchant...
Interesting. So where do you get the latest CMF 5.0.4? I downloaded it through the download lists, but help me here.
here it's explained: ---Zebes instructions--- Take your time and read. Check what you already have. The step 6, it's optional, but it's the latest version.( Maybe you didn't installed.) That's what you want. You can also look post #124 here : ---Maggit's fixes--- Check which pack suits you better and download, that would fix some problems. The TotWC is an option to rebalance the game, it's more difficult. The other are the normal Co8 game. remember to clean the game cachè often (just check the box, and launch the game), and from time to time, delete the .pyc files ( go to data/scr , there's an application, just click it) if you have some problems.
If I'm not wrong, I've freed that merchants, now that I think about it. But I'm pretty sure that it was while I was running 5.0.4, so maybe it IS in that mod, still...
