Hi guys. I can't seem to get Vampiric touch to work. When I hit I do damage but donot gain any hit points! Any ideas? Thank you all.
I can confirm this and have updated the buglist accordingly. Something Temple+ may be able to fix: the game acknowledges that you are meant to get bonus HP but they aren't applied. For anyone who doesn't realise (like me until I looked up the buglist), you have to cast it on yourself and then touch attack the enemy.
Quick question about the vampiric touch change in Temple+. I think the original version of the spell effected your character and allowed you to hold the charge if the touch attack missies. What was the reason it was changed to make the touch attack in the spell's python file? This causes the spell to be lost if you miss with the attack.
Heck if I remember, I guess because people complained about it? I guess it would be easy to rewrite it nowadays.
