I've never ever seen so many people at the olde country buffet ever in my life as yesterday. WTF?! Is OCB a favorite romantic place for valentines day or what? If I still did that whole significant other thing, I don't think we would be going to OCB and stare lovingly and soulfully into each other's eyes over plates of corporate chicken, mashed potatoes and baked fish. Maybe the $5.99 price is romantic? Same price it would cost to buy enough cracker jacks to get a wedding ring.
Re: Happy Holidays! My Valentine's Day was actually kind of romantic. My ex-wife married husband number 4. I actually approve of the guy. He figured out that hanging with the boys was good, even without the mom. And the Mom figured out that was important. At the reception, not one but two husbandless MILF's made gun runs. I already like them both, but I also know they are both trouble. The younger one's daughters glommed on to me on sight. Which meant, of course, I had to sit with her. I actually had to admire her tactical acumen. I'm noticing that women run the place and men are merely cattle to be cut from the herd as needed.
Re: Happy Holidays! Whoops, I forgot! Gong ci fa tai! Or Gong hai fa choi (Or something like that.) Happy Year of the Tiger!
Re: Happy Holidays! If they ever figure out how to produce sperm independantly, we're through altogether. It's true IMO that they're vastly superior tactically. I've seen them cheat on their husbands, then file for divorce and win half or more of the assets (where the husband is the primary bread winner) and principal custody of any children, while making the guy pay for their legal fees and any associated costs, and then have the judge dress down the husband publically for being such a low life while the woman openly laughs at him. lol @ "gun runs."
Re: Happy Holidays! I think they are already in charge of that capacity. They just keep us around as toys anyway. As opposed to a flyover or a bombing run. The guns, of course, being a judgement-destroying combination of body proportions and eyes used during 'innocent conversation'. :dribble: :chick:
Re: Happy Holidays! The next holiday is what? Memorial day at the end of May? Man, that's too damn long a stretch. There should be 2 holidays a month. One of them would be "Man, I don't give a !@#$ about work" day, when all the corporate climbers have to work a double shift at the office without pay while grunts like me get flown out to Vegas for the day on the company tab. Hell, I'd settle for Rush St. in Chi-town or better yet, Bourbon St. in Norleans.
Rush street isn't what it used to be, I'm afraid. It's pretty gentrified in that area. Lots of good bars, though.
That is very sad. I only been down there twice and each time was an enormous blast. 3 inch thick pizzas and all the cheap pitcher Special Exports you could drink! On tap! Where have all the good old days gone?
Oh, you can still get that and more! Some damn good eateries around there! I thought you were referring to the Rush Street of old, hookers, adult bookstores, cheap hotels....
