While shopping with the wife today I purchased V for Vendetta. Now that the movie is over I have to say that given the limitation of film as opposed to the freedom of the written word it was one of the best adaptations I've seen in a long time. If anyone out there has not read the alan moore & david lloyd graphic novel, I strongly recommend it. The novel goes into much more detail, items which would have merely slowed the movie but fills in gaps in the story that are not covered. As they used to say on siskel & ebert... Two thumbs up.
