How not to sell a contact sport to the country that has Rugby League, Rugby Union,The Three Peaks Challenge, and chasing a cheese down a hill..... https://youtu.be/3IITAJ6NDlo http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-34430305
I don't think we're trying to sell American football in Europe, myself I went to a game between the Jets and the Dolphins in Germany 20 years ago and it was mostly about goodwill and sharing a good time with our friends across the pond.
Selling US football or not, can someone please take Jay Cutler off our hands? May be the EU can use him as a tackling dummy. He's had lots of practice.
They are trying to get an NFL franchise in London. You will probably start seeing more Rugby players being signed to teams NFL teams in the States.
I seriously doubt this, the promo games between the Jets and the Dolphins have been going on in Europe for over 20 years, like I mentioned before, I was at the Berlin game almost 20 years ago and they do it every year. Btw, the games are free to all active duty soldiers in all the countries involved.
There is a lot of discussion about it. Whether it ever happens is another thing. I just thought it was funny the panic over the fear of substandard toilet paper putting the players off their games. The NHL occassioally plays exhibition matches over here and they alway sell out. http://www.standard.co.uk/news/lond...s-into-american-football-giants-a2952731.html http://www.theguardian.com/sport/2015/oct/03/nfl-london-new-york-jets-miami-dolphins-franchise
