As I was replaying the game, I was struck by how easy it was to break if you use knowledge of the maps/encounters. Hopefully, this brief guide will be useful to those trying to get to the end-game Co8 content faster and those having trouble with the game. Warning: it will break your game and make it less enjoyable. For those who don't know, a Navarro run is an exploit in Fallout 2, where the first thing you do in the game is go to Navarro and get the Power Armor, the best armor in the game, and some of the best weapons. Something similar is very easy to do in ToEE. This works best with a cleric, but other classes should be almost as easy. After defeating Lareth in the Moathouse, you should go directly to Nulb - buy the Mithral Full Plate and Mithral buckler from Ah Fong. Enchant them (you did take the crafting feats, right?) and you have the best armor in the game. Then talk to Wat and get a referral to Alremm. Go to the guardhouse and get escorted to Alremm (if you lack the conversational skills, you can take out the bandits, which shouldn't be hard with a level 8/9 solo character). From there, go down to the Temple Dungeon Level 3, rescue/kill Prince Thrommel for Scather/Fragarach. Finally, maximize your power attack (tip - cast Divine Power once, set your power attack modifier to max; cast divine power again and increase the modifier again; also, do not take Exotic Weapon proficiency to get the two-handed power attack bonus) and combat expertise. Congratulations - you now have an AC 30+ tank who does insane amounts of automatic damage per hit - enlarge him for extreme carnage. The rest of the game should be a breeze - heck, you could probably go take out Iuz/Zuggtmoy now (with stoneskins). Of course the game is now broken and much of the challenge of the excellent Co8 encounters is lost. Thus, you should use this guide at your own risk. Enjoy!
i saw that ability too, but if im playing good i get the silver bastard sword of chaos and dual wield. currently im playing through only wearing items i find!
