I was wondering that maybe we could have a screenshot thread. The idea would be to try to keep it to unusual (like a weird situation, or some epic kill) or funny moments (in-game funny or even something silly that you thought at that moment), and kind of sporadic. Instead of having something like a picture dump. And do please add a caption to the pic. Inevitably SPOILERS MAY OCCUR . In order to try to minimize this, I would also ask to don't post anything from the latest Co8 modpack until it gets 6 months old (eg: modpack v7 will come on late December, so you will only be able to post something from it in July). I'll start... EDIT: please use some image hosting instead of attaching images in order to save bandwidth I recommend http://imgur.com/ it's the best one I found so far. Big spider is big! I think there were 6 characters under that spider. Because I wasn't able to target that cursed priest, I had to restart this encounter.
Barbarian rides a bear like a Boss, while Tarah finds a growling wildshaped Meleny to be of soft skin and innocent gaze... she really is nuts!
Cool, I didn't know that there is this kind of reaction in that fight if you have Meleny with you. It's always like a small so far undetected parcel under the christmas tree when I see something new in this game. Thanks Random.
I knew I was playing a fantasy role-playing game, but when Kella's polar bear animal companion began talking during 'Demons & Demigods' (after being affected by a balor's fear attack), it really freaked me out and lightened the mood of an otherwise intense moment in the game! The polar bear kept exclaiming different comments (in subsequent turns), each as amusing as the previous one.
I had that happen to me as well when I tried using Turn Earth on the enemies in the Earth Node. The Chaggrins and the uh... golem things (Whatever they were called I forget) would also blurt out silly lines like that while they ran away.
Have you ever wondered what it would look like if your adventuring party was stuck in 12 webs (i.e. 12 Web spells)? Well, wonder no more:
