Hi, folks, A few posters at Dragonsfoot.org are tossing around ideas for sidequests, based on the PC game, to use while running the pen-and-paper ToEE module. I figured I'd post a few questions here for those of you who are more familiar with the PC game than I am. First off: The "Woodsman's Problem" sidequest - anyone remember how many (and what size) spiders you generally encounter on this one?
I recall there are two spiders at the Deklo grove. I don't have access to my mod files located at home. So, someone else will need to advise you on their type and HD - unless, it remains unanswered until I get home tonight.

THREE giant spiders? You're a shocker Maggit... come on, own up - you've never played ToEE, have you... :shrugno: (Or you're probably thinking of the 3 vampires in the Hommlet cellar we added).
I don't know why I said three. When it comes to the PnP... nope, heck, I never played any PnP module. Our DM always had his own adventures prepared for us. Oh... and I've started ToEE Co8 about twenty times... really strange... I must've been seeing double... or one and a half(?).
