Well, I was about to start the game after observing comments that the game is now basically playable. While perusing the guide section at my local store, I noticed the ToEE guide and it looks pretty interesting. Does anyone else own it and did you really need to look at it much? I'm one of those people who hate missing optional quests and I don't want to miss anything.
The book is actually good. It does not tell you exactly, step by step, how to do things, but it does outline every quest and every map. It does not give away everything: how to best kill creatures, that would take the fun out, but it is worthwhile, if not just for the interesting reading.
