perhaps someone can help with this, after I installed the full co8 mod pack, I can play the game fine from the mod launch window, but if I try to launch the co8 module itself to play the game with all the extras, it crashes with no msg back to the desktop, right after the intro movies and the load screen (when it should be loading the new/load/etc window-anyone have any ideas (yes , I have done a full (and clean) uninstall/reinstall
Spamming multiple threads with the same questions won't get your problem sorted, but it will get you banned. That said... 1) What patches do you have on your ToEE installation? You should have... ToEE, patch 1, patch 2, and Co8-4.0.0. 2) Did you install the toffee or non-toffee version (these are options in the Co8-4.0.0 installer). 3) If you installed the toffee version... Do you have Microsoft .NET v1.1 or v2.0 installed (toffee won't run without it. 4) If you have toffee installed... are you using the original shortcut to start the game or the toffee one (the game won't work properly if you use the wrong shortcut to start it)?
