Forsooth! Tis truly a wondrous event. I'm soooo jealous of you right now. The Ren Faire here in the Chicago area was the of the victims of our own personal budget cuts as a family this summer. Stupid economy!!
But, forsooth, not as wonderous as we might wish. For, with my favorite knaves, comes their mother, the ex. Her boyfriend goeth to raceth the motoreth biketh. Of the young ladies of our unsavory bunch, the eldest, a mom of 2 of my favorite demonesses, is too domesticated to participate. The next is gravid unto bursting, and may be doing so as I type. The next 2 must needs work on Saturday in local taverns, being quite buxom wenches themselves . And the youngest is visiting her mom in another state. So much for the width of our swath of destruction. And my present beloved oppressor (she of the wide, but still pleasing, butt and blood-sucking ways) goeth to Austin, not being willing to humiliate herself in public. Why, when she learned of my Renfestish Proclivities, she doth quote "Oh, you're one of THOSE". Why the cheek! We should never have taught them to walk on their hind legs. Let alone to talk! Well, we went. And we had a blast. But, the only camera I had was a cell phone camera. I don't even own a real camera. I'll post the meagre results here in a few hours. There's a faint chance that I will be going back to the Renfest this year. If I go, I may take a real camera. The last camera I owned used 35mm film. It was used for GA work, so, of course, it's cratered. I've lost quite a few over the years. I don't know how to use electronic cameras. So there may be an unscaleable learning curve. I never used an electronic for GA work because they simply CAN'T be dropped. This may be an excuse to finally get one. It never occurred to me there would be an audience for such things at Co8.
So, I would be going as a Co8 reporter...Hey, is there a Co8 t-shirt? I'll bet THAT would get me laid! elvicthr
